About this project

The aim of the project is to validate the vortex shedding behavior of the cylinder with Large Eddy Simulation (LES) approach using SimScale's new Lattice Boltzmann based solver Pacefish. The results are compared with the experimental results from research paper and are in congruence with it. The parameters used for validation are the Mean radial pressure distribution over the cylinder surface and the vortex shedding profile. - Copy
