Submer Technologies’ proprietary SmartPod cooling solutions feature a liquid bath for cooling IT hardware. This novel approach capitalizes on the advantages that a liquid-phase material has over gas-phase materials, such as air, for removing excess heat. Overall, this system can effectively cool server racks reducing cooling energy costs by up to 95% when compared to traditional air cooling.

To ensure the reliable operation of the components within the SmartPod, temperatures need to be consistently low. Submer leveraged high-fidelity engineering simulation in the cloud to develop the most efficient cooling solution.

In this webinar, our guest speaker from Submer shows how they used powerful CFD simulations with SimScale to model multiple design scenarios to de-risk overheating in critical components.
