Tesla Valve Design Optimization in SimScale
Thanks to the automation capabilities of Optimus, geometrical parameters of the valve design can be varied and using SimScale’s API submitted for CFD simulation automatically. Parallelization in Optimus combined with SimScale’s API allows the user to submit several jobs at once and the results for all those jobs will be ready in a time span of only one simulation. The Multi-Objective Optimization tool of Optimus will decide the test cases to calculate a Pareto front showing compromises between two conflicting objectives.

Application Engineer
After her mechanical engineering degree in Turkey, she did her PhD in turbomachinery at the von Karman Institute in Belgium. She worked in experimental research in fluid dynamics in Switzerland and in Belgium. Since March 2020, she has been working at Noesis Solution as Application Engineer mainly responsible for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) projects.
Application Engineer
After her Master's degree in Aeronautics, she joined Plastic Omnium where she had multiple positions in the simulation department: starting with CFD simulations, then Solids Mechanics simulations for the Research Center, and finally Project Leader of the in-house web platform to automate all simulations of the company. She recently joined Noesis Solutions as Application Engineer to pursue her career in simulation. There, she answers customer requests to develop optimization processes with the software Optimus.
Co-Founder & Product Manager
As one of five co-founders, Anatol started work on the backend and infrastructure of SimScale while studying Computer Science at TU Munich and Georgia Tech. Today, with SimScale being both on a sound technological footing and a successful business, Anatol is the Product Manager for SimScale's API to ensure customers’ needs are understood, addressed, and met.
“We are really impressed with the SimScale platform. Thanks to the platform’s ease of use, the professional support of SimScale engineers and the perfect communication with them, we were able to efficiently perform simulations and sort out our design problems. It’s hard to imagine how much physical prototyping time and measures we saved thanks to virtual prototyping.”
“When I started with SimScale, I knew from my previous experience how simulations are structured and work, but I had forgotten some details over the years. The great tutorials, documentation, and personal conversations with support have brought me up to date within 2 months of using SimScale. I am now well versed and use SimScale even with smaller problems to confirm my pre-calculations and to quickly compare design studies.”
