About the job

For our fast growing international team, we are looking for a dynamic and outgoing Sales Engineer (m/f) who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment and open to learning about a cutting-edge technology every day. You will be the technical SimScale expert in identifying and understanding needs and challenges of our customers and prospects.

You will work in close collaboration with our Account Executives throughout the lead qualification process and provide solutions that fit users’ needs and get them excited about the potential of simulation. This includes delivering exceptional and inspiring product demonstrations where you’ll show the value and economic benefits of simulation.

You will also work closely with our Marketing, Applications Engineering, and Product Management teams to develop best practices to improve not only our Sales process but also our product in general.

What we expect from you (must-haves)

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a technical pre-sales role in CAD/CAM/CAE
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a sales-quota-carrying role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

What we would like from you (nice-to-haves)

  • Experience with engineering simulation in general (CFD, FEM, LBM and/or other methods)
  • Strong understanding of Business Processes / Engineering Processes
  • CRM experience with Salesforce, MS Dynamics or similar
  • Experience in a startup sales environment
