CFD Study of an EGR Valve (Exhaust System)

The automotive and engine industries were among the earliest adopters of CFD, using this technology to predict highly compressible internal flows. In this field, the application of CFD enables innovation and design cycles to be shortened and costs to be reduced accordingly. However, due to the high investment required by traditional on-premise simulation tools, until recently CFD was only available to OEMs and leading suppliers.
