No. SimScale is a web-based software runs on Mac, PC, Linux, and Chromebook. All you need is an internet connection.
SimScale is free for students, researchers, and educators. We usually recommend going with the Academic Plan.
Yes, if you meet the criteria for the Academic Plan, you can apply. You will need to have a registered account with SimScale before applying.
Don’t worry! With SimScale’s Free Community Plan you have access to all the most basic features of SimScale. If you are a hobbyist, you can become a Power User and get access to the academic plan.
