Efficiency standards for fans and blowers are yet to be harmonized across countries, with variations found in efficiency metrics, product scope, and stringency of application. The EU, for example, has an established Fan Motor Efficiency Grading (FMEG) system under the Ecodesign Directive EU No 327/2011, while the U.S. DoE is set to introduce the Fan Efficiency Index (FEI) based metric recommended by the AMCA. In the face of evolving government regulations, OEMs of fans and blowers need fast and cost-effective digital prototyping tools to stay compliant and competitive, both internationally and locally.

Looking to improve the energy rating of fans & blowers and shorten the time to certification and market? In this webinar, learn how you can leverage cloud-native simulation in SimScale for fans and blowers.
