Greetings to everyone!
I am Cetengfei and I registered a new account, basically, my old email address is expired because I graduated from the university. People who looked my files or known me before can add this account to replace my old user ‘czhang’.
Last year I did some works on Formula student aero simulation, and I am going to study MSc of aeronautics engineering at Imperial College London, UK for the next step, let’s do something more exciting in CFD in the future! I am glad to say hi to you guys.
Hi @Cetengfei!
Welcome again to SimScale! Hope that you will participate a lot in the discussions like you did with your other account
Wish you all the best!

Going to start doing CFD about jet engines LOL
Hello everyone,
I’m Andres. I’m currently a fourth-year mechanical engineering undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania.
I’ve used OpenFOAM and COMSOL in the past for coursework and academic research. I’ve become very fond of how convenient and powerful the Simscale platform has been, particularly in cutting down simulation time.
In the near future, I hope to incorporate fluid-structure interactions into my current flow simulations.
Hello Andres (@andizam ) and a warm welcome to SimScale!
Really nice that you have some experience with common simulation tools - hopefully you can give our users (including myself ) some nice tips! Looking forward to see you participating in some discussions here
P.S.: For FSI (a module currently not available on SimScale) I would recommend to upvote/post any queries related to that into the Vote For Features section of the forum.
Enjoy your stay here and happy continuous SimScaling

Hello,
My name is Dale Kramer.
I live in Florida and to my neighbors, it looks like I am retired but I still do basically what I have done my whole life.
I have been designing air things for 40 years, the most successful has been the Lazair
My most ‘fun’ project is the eLazair
This is a link to a ‘Build log’ of the eLazair.
Another recent project that is still ongoing is the vLazair
I hope that I can use the wonders of CFD to allow my air things to be created with much less effort and be fully optimized so that they can do what I envision them to do.
I hope that other forum members will provide me with enough assistance so that I become comfortable relying on CFD results.
Dale
Welcome to SimScale Dale and it a pleasure for us to have you “on board”
I had a look at your projects and they look amazing! And I hope as well that we can fix your questions in your other post to make you feel comfy as fast as possible
Cheers and happy future SimScaling!

Hi,
My name is Loïc (31), i live in France ( Alps), i am civil Engineer and my knowledge in fluid dynamics are poor but i am learning it (slowly…)!
I am a river surfer and static river waves fascinates me.
I am here to learn about fluids dynamics simulation. I am trying to simulate hydraulic Jumps / obstacles and i hope i will manage to see one simulation soon !
Thanks a lot for this online product!
Loïc
Hi @LBV,
welcome abroad!
Sounds great that you are so enthusiastic about learning something new! Feel free to ask for some support when you got stuck.
Best regards,
Jani
Salut Loïc also from my side and welcome to SimScale!
I have listed some good learning resources a bit above. In any case, if you need help or have questions do not hesitate to contact me either in the forum or via mail: jmurad@simscale.com.
Wish you a pleasant stay here and happy SimScaling!

Hi, I never showed up.
My name is Camilo, I’m a mechanical engineer from Chile. I am a lover of mechanical simulation and free software. I have an account at Simscale since 2016!
(I know you have seen my pastime simulations )In addition to Engineer I am a teacher of mathematics in high school and I have a degree in education. Soon I hope to do tutorials in Spanish for the community about simscale and paraview.
I hope the simscale support!
I am anxious to see how the platform continues to improve. Let’s see what happens.
Hey @camilomati and welcome to our forum!
Absolutely no problem - better late than never, right? If you need educator material to teach your students about simulation and SimScale in general you can contact me via jmurad@simscale.com and I will send you everything you need!
Cheers and all the best!

I’m Fatkhurrozi. I do some engineering, from fluids, acoustics, and mechanics.
I hope this will be great beginning.
Salam @mfrozi and welcome to our forum!
Feel free to reach out to me whenever you need help or have a questions!
Cheers and all the best!

Hey friends ! I am Naren and I am a serious design-technology visualization person & ( experienced design engineer 12 Yrs. plus). Mainly into visualizing ( by animation & gaming tools ) for Science-technology, Innovations, Pre-design visualization, Idea / Concepts etc.
I know this could be little confusing for most engineering
Many times instead of real in depth CFD / FEA solutions, the initial quick and directional results / guide lines are required for designers. Found gaming & animation tools are quite faster & promising in initial design stages & even in certain stages at intermediate stages. Spending hours & days together sometime for unnecessary detailed results is not necessary, a quick directional guide lines are life line.
I found this site during my off the track tools search & hope it will be a good tool in my collection! :)
Eventually browse thru many samples here & might meet like minded Engineer Artists !
Cheers !
Visualizer
Hi @visualizer and welcome to our forum!
Sounds very interesting and I hope that there are some good and beneficial synergy effects that helps other users are well. Could you send me a portfolio (if you have one) of what you are actually doing? I have some idea in my head how it looks like but I would love to know more about it Drop me a message!
All the best and enjoy your stay here!

Hello SimScale and all,
My name is Leechin from Taiwan and this is my first time try out SimScale due to my computer performance is no longer enough to get the job down.
I get quite excited to getting to know SimScale cloud calculation, this is definitely suit my needs. I do not need to carrying super heavy laptop during my business traveling and it very convenient to run multiple cases simulation in parallel and get the answers in an expect-able deadline.
A warm welcome to SimScale @yang_leechin!
Feel free to reach out to me whenever you need help, either in the forum or privately.
Happy SimScaling!

Hi Vaibhav I have some things to discuss. It is very urgent. Can you please tell me a way to contact you.
