As an announcement to the SimScale community, the Simerics-MP solver is now available on the SimScale Community plan. Community plan access is free and intended for non-commercial use, with all projects shared publicly on the SimScale platform.
With this expansion, Simerics-MP — purpose-built for pumps, compressors, valves, electric motors, and turbines — is available to explore on SimScale’s Community plan, giving engineers evaluating rotating machinery CFD for the first time a hands-on way to experience what the solver can do.
The solver delivers automated meshing and a purpose-built rotating machinery solver used in industries including automotive, industrial equipment, energy, and aerospace. On SimScale, engineers can import CAD geometry, configure and run a Simerics-MP simulation, and post-process results — all within a single browser, with no hardware procurement or software installation required. Community plan simulations run within standard computing quotas on publicly shared projects.
For engineers ready to move beyond exploration, SimScale’s Professional plan removes the Community restrictions entirely: projects are private, use is unrestricted including commercial applications, instance sizes are unlimited, and Engineering AI is available across all workflows. SimScale’s Engineering AI automates the manual, time-intensive parts of the simulation process — setup guidance, parameter selection, and result interpretation — so that Simerics-MP accuracy and Engineering AI automation work together to accelerate the full rotating machinery design cycle.
