I would like to run an axisymmetric model. My understanding is that I need to generate the mesh externally, and import it. Then I use “wedge” BCs. The mesh along the outer perimeter surface needs to be structured and 1 row wide.
I am new to generating meshes, so I installed GMSH. I created the mesh (imposing the 1 row rule on the outer surface), and exported it as a .med file. But when I import this into SimScale, I get the message “The MED file is incompatible with SimScale. Please try exporting it in a different version and upload again. Error Id: W7LeDCFs”
