Critical shaft speed - Campell diagram

Hey @asjo ,

We do have a 2-tutorial series that helps you learn how to run frequency and harmonic simulation on a fixed airfoil model. The idea of running the two simulations are that the frequency simulation will result in your system’s natural / eigen frequencies and the harmonic simulation will then study the effect of a periodic input (in this case, forces acting on this rotating shaft at a specific speed in RPM) over a range of specified frequencies.

The results can then be analyzed to detect possible resonance (or critical speeds in your case) as done in this example. You should then be able to generate a Campbell diagram from all this data.

Centrifugal force boundary conditions would be particularly interesting to your study. Some example projects that would help here:

Let us know how it goes.
