Welcome! - Introduce yourself :)

Welcome @fastwayjim, glad to have you in the SimScale Community! That’s great that you are involved with teaching CAD/CEA - we look forward to working with you

Hi All, my name is Arnold, I’m a building designer in Australia and I teach part time in a middle level engineering diploma program. Some years ago I had some experience with a plastic injection moulding simulation program which was a very focused application. I’m looking forward to learning about more flexible and interesting uses. To begin with I’ll try some simple airconditioning studies of my house designs and make use of at least the bright colours until I can really solve problems.
Like a lot of Australians I like to surf and also I keep a few bonsai trees (not so Aussie).

Hi @arnold1, nice to meet you here! I hope this is not too off-topic, but recently I am also looking at Air Bonsai, that floats in the air  I really like the idea, and maybe one day we can simulate it on SimScale! Cheers!

We’re going to need a magic solver!

Hi All,

My name is Steven and I am from the U.S. I’m a thermal engineer for a small start-up company and a PhD student. I am very interested in analytical and numerical modeling of heat transfer and fluid mechanics processes, particularly applied to thermal management of electronics.

I am currently working on modeling the complex mechanisms of phase change processes like evaporation/condensation and boiling.

I am excited to learn all that SimScale has to offer and collaborating with all of you!

Best,
Steven

Selwin lisand. I am a designer /constructor working on gasturbines, and i need to learn cfd

Howdy @lisand and welcome to the SimScale forum! If you need to learn CFD, we can probably help you there. Here’s some resources to get you started: A Collection of SimScale Resources

I’m getting a 404 error when I click on your link, can you edit your post and provide a working link

Hello everyone!

hello everyone ,
happy to join the Simscale recently to learn some useful things about simulation specially in biomedical engineering since i’m a biomed.engineer and doing my master study in Vienna Technical University so the Simscale is a great chance to learn more stuff about simulation
thank you all
