I want to simulate a new type of tree and bushes using porous media. I know that there are presets of trees in PwC but I want to model a new tree. I need help in how to define the porous media of the tree. Which type (attached image) to choose and how to calculate based on the tree leaf index or density.

If you carefully look at the equations, you will notice that this is a Forchheimer model (i.e. Darcy-Forchheimer with d = 0).
As such, you can derive Darcy-Forchheimer coefficients based on a given tree configuration.
