Thermal material interface simulation carbon nano tube

Hello great peoples ,
I would like to try some simulation work where i wish to see TIM as carbon nanotube as interface material, or other material like graphene. Am very new for simulation please help someone.

Sincerely
SHIVAM

Hey shivamp198,

Thanks for posting on the forum. Apologies for a late response here.

I would recommend you to use the below two articles about CONTACTS and CUSTOM MATERIALS in order to simulate what you are trying to do.
You can refer to this article to know more about contact definition in heat transfer simulations. It is a very intuitive process: Contacts in Conjugate Heat Transfer | Contacts | SimScale You could also find this done in some of these tutorials: SimScale Tutorials and User Guides | Cloud-Based CAE | SimScale.

We assume you have the material data of the material you would like to use. You can set custom materials in SimScale. Here is how to do it: How to Define a Custom Material? | Documentation | SimScale

All the best for your project. Do let us know if you have more questions.

Best,
Satvik
