I’m trying to do a CFD simulation for a (rotating) vertical wind turbine with a diffuser. The diffuser would be a separate part and would not be attached to the turbine. Is this possible to do in Simscale? If yes, does the geometry assignment will be the same as that of a turbine only?

You can check these pages regarding preparing a geometry with a MRF region:
As indicated in these pages, you will have to extract the turbine and diffuser from the air domain, and just keep the latter and the MRF region.
