Residual convergence for simulation

Dear SimScale Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well.
I am currently using SimScale for my academic research related to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, specifically focusing on transformer cooling system/radiator design optimization.

At this stage, my simulations are still running and have not yet converged because the pressure residual (p_rgh) has not reached the required level below 1×10⁻³. Consequently, I require additional simulation time to achieve the necessary convergence and ensure reliable results.

Therefore, I kindly request an extension or additional core hours on my account in order to complete these analyses successfully. I would be very grateful for your assistance, as this support will be highly valuable for the completion of my research project.

Did you take a look at your mesh quality. Here is an article helping you to dive deeper into your mesh quality and possibly help with convergence:

Other than that, you can take a look at the below article for all the parameters at which you can take a look to check if a simulation is converged, in general:
