Multibody Dynamic Analysis

Sir Is it possible to perform multibody transient structural analysis in Simscale? In my project, the tool is moved along X axis, Y axis and Z axis which are mutually perpendicular to each other. To check stability and deformation we are performing transient analysis on entire structure . Till now we were doing transient analysis on x, y and z axis separately. Now for next we have to perform transient analysis on structure where analysis should be done for all three axis simultaneously and all three axis have different loads. This one is an actual practical conditions.

Hello jajose_m19
I’m sure that this is possible you’ll just have to make sure that everything is still well constrained.
This one is a tutorial for a two-axis movement.

Sir, but every axis have different loads and number of steps. For X axis after applying loads I have to define number of steps=8 s then for y axis no. of steps=5s and for z axis no. of steps=5 sec. Could you suggest how to define simulation control settings for all three axis where loads are independent to each other.

Hi jajose_m19

you can define the load’s using a table.

With that, you can control the time dependency of the Loads/Displacements. But be aware that a ramping of the values would still be necessary, to stabilize the solving of the simulation.

Thank you Sir
