Incompressible fluid simulation error message

Hello, I have recently been trying to fluid sim an injector part and it worked the first few times however it is now giving me an error message after the simulation has run and I try to access the ‘post-process results’ and as much as I retry it i keep getting an error. I am very new to this software so any help would be much appreciated.

Hello! Welcome to the SimScale forum.

I understand you’re encountering an error when trying to access the post-processor, which can certainly be frustrating when you’re new to the software. It’s a common hurdle, and we’re here to help you sort it out.

Based on your description, here are a few general troubleshooting steps you can take that often resolve these kinds of issues:

  • Check the Solver Log: Before diving into the post-processor, it’s a good practice to check the simulation run’s Solver Log. This log will tell you if the simulation completed successfully or if it failed due to issues like divergence. An unsuccessful run is a common reason for post-processing errors.
  • Browser Issues: Sometimes the issue can be browser-related. Please try clearing your browser’s cache or opening your project in a different web browser (like Chrome or Firefox) to see if that resolves the problem.
  • Reset Post-Processor: You can try resetting the post-processor to its default state. This can sometimes clear up unexpected errors. You can find instructions on how to do this in our post-processor troubleshooting guide.

To help us understand the problem better and provide a more specific solution, could you please share the link to your project? This will allow us to look at your setup and diagnose the issue more effectively. If your project is private, please remember to share it with support.

In the meantime, you might find this tutorial on the integrated post-processor helpful for getting more familiar with the visualization tools.

Let us know how you get on with these steps, and please share your project link when you can.
