How to upload an OpenFOAM mesh and cases?

Often the users have a query of how to upload an OpenFOAM case? The following information will help:

Case upload:

  1. SimScale provides the functionality to upload OpenFOAM cases and simulations using the computing power of platform.
  2. The case upload can be found in the following analysis type:

3.After the selection, one can zip the OpenFOAM case consisting of three folders: 0, constant and system. The new zipped file can be uploaded on SimScale. For more details please visit the following:

Mesh upload:

  1. If you want to do a mesh upload, please zip only the constant folder.
  2. Click on the mesh upload and choose the format to be OpenFOAM.

3.Select the zipped constant folder and upload it.
