Homework 1

#1

Has the first homework been posted for the Webinar? If so, I would like to know how to access it.

#2

Not yet. The video has been released, but we are still waiting on the homework.

Thank you.

#4

Hello, i still can’t find the homework: Do you know if it have been posted?

#5

I haven’t seen it posted on the forum so I’m guessing it’s not yet done. It seems it’s a long process to make the homework.

#6

I also can’t find it !!

#7

I see it now everyone, its down below.

#8

Can you link it? I don’t see it.

#9

Link would be nice.

#10

#11

i dont think this is it, anymore.

#12

The CAD model of the Front Wing used in the above example is different than the one used in the webinar. I believe, solving the homework on the above example would not be useful.

#13

Hello everyone, the contents will be published by @Milad_Mafi soon. We are making some final editing. Cheers!

#14

Hi All,

You can find the step-by-step homework tutorial here and submit your ready homework via the following form.

Cheers,

Hi,

I get an error message when I try to mesh the model. It seems the geometry has some holes. Has anyone seen the same?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
MPI_ABORT was invoked on rank 8 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD
with errorcode 1.
NOTE: invoking MPI_ABORT causes Open MPI to kill all MPI processes.
You may or may not see output from other processes, depending on
exactly when Open MPI kills them.

Hi
I’m trying to create a private copy of the project, but on my screen message appears “Loading” and nothing happens, I can not see the model.
Can you help me?

#17

Hi @siliev, with a SimScale community account, you can only create a public project, not a private one. Hope this helps!

#18

I tried but it does not. I send you print screen.

#19

Hey @siliev,

this is happening if webgl, the technology that the 3D-visualization in the browser is based on, is disabled or not supported for your browser. Please check out the help links in our troubleshooting section in the documentation (under 3D Viewer):

https://www.simscale.com/docs/content/support/troubleshooting.html

If this does not solve the issue please let us know.

Best Alex
