Error while importing mesh file

Using SimScale CAD & Meshing

I used Gmsh v4.8.4 to generate the mesh with proper boundary condition. When I tried to import .med file of that, I’m getting error about version.

Error from simscale ;
The MED file is incompatible with SimScale. Please try exporting it in a different version and upload again.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason for generating meshes outside of the platform?
