Calculation of Turbulent kinetic energy and dissipation rate

Hello there,
We have gone through many forum projects and found that they have their own k and epsilon values. Please tell or illustrate the formula used to calculate for external flow. Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @Harekrishna!

This here might help you: Defining Turbulent Boundary Conditions - let me know if you have any additional questions.

We gone through it. I have a clarification. How to decide turbulence values for flow over tire.?

Hi @Harekrishna!

I would use the velocity of the inlet that you have set as the boundary condition in your simulation.

Hi! I’m trying to calculate (k) turb. kinetic energy and (w) specific dissipation rate for a simulation that simulating an airplane wing. And the altitude is 10000 meters and chord line is 5 meters. I read some articles and some stuff. But there is lot of different formula and I got really confused about how am ı gonna calculate this two. I got really short time to finish my project and I’d be glad if you could help me about it.
