When I try and mesh my model it says “We were unable to mesh this model. Try uploading your model and generating the mesh again.” I am not sure what this means. I think it means that there is an error in the CAD however I have no clue how to find this error so any help would be great thanks.

Have you tried out Hex-Dominant mesh? The “Hex-dominant parametric” (only for CFD) is the semi-automatic meshing option that uses hexahedral cells and allows full flexibility in meshing parameters with all types of refinement options. The objective is to get a high-quality mesh with sufficient resolution to capture key features in the model.
You can follow the tutorial which I think will be a great starting point for you
I have used hex mesh before but I have always found it very complicated especially because I have very thin gaps in certain places and it often jumps over these gaps.
