Sutherland Law

Hi

I am using Sutherland for my aircraft simulation at cruise and would like to know what some parameters mean. I wanted to know whether T0 is total temperature or static temperature at a defined altitude.
Also wanted to know whether V0 is dynamic viscosity at a defined altitude.

Kind regards,
Syed

Hi,

Kindly refer to the following articles:

In short, these values that you see are the Sutherland’s law coefficients for air, and should not be changed.

Hi,

thank for the quick response, just to confirm these values should not be altered even when operating at a altitude + 12,000 m.

Kind regards,

Syed
