Support with Heat Conduction Problem

Hi,

I am quite new to this but have the following i want to simulate.

The model consists of a steel plate in between 2 steel blocks.
The blocks have starting temp of 20°C
The plate has a starting temp of 850°C

I would just like to plot the temperature of various faces in function of time as the heat transfers between the objects.

I’m not sure how to do this.
Which simulation type should i use?
How can i plot the temperature in function of time in the results?

Hi KennyS,

You could use the heat transfer analysis type. Heat Transfer Analysis | Analysis Types | SimScale It would let you assign the initial temperatures and how it interacts with the environment through convection.

You could plot the temperatures through Result Control>Area Calculation options.
