Run simulation error

Hello. I need help with this project. Regarding “variant 1 with heating on”, the simulation worked fine for me, but the next 5 simulations always stop saying there is a problem with the outlet. I tried going through all the links on the forum and I still don’t know how to solve it. Thank you

Hey @Luksajetop10 ,

Divergence is a very common problem. You can find a detailed overview of how divergence occurs and different possible ways to resolve it in this document: Divergence and Resolution. Almost every situation is covered in this article and one of them should definitely work out for you.

But in general, you need to have a finer mesh in areas where you know or believe there would be higher variation in flow properties like velocity, etc. A common further mistake is to have a fine overall mesh, that does not help that much, start with specific sharp edges etc. and then gradually keep adding refinements wherever required. This avoids unnecessary meshing in areas where the flow does not vary that much, for example! The current divergence location does point near the inlet defined by you.

Other than that, you are using a CHT simulation with a single power source with 0 W (image below). Maybe try running a simple incompressible simulation instead without the power source geometry in the model at all.

Best,
Satvik

I need to use CHT simulation because I want one variant with the heating on and the other without the heating on. And I tried everything in the link, but I still can’t fix it.
