Problems with the Enclosure

Hallo,

ich habe einige Probleme mein CAD-Modell mit einem Gehäuse zu versehen. Ich habe einen Flieger im STL-Format importiert und will nun für die Simulation ein Gehäuse anlegen. Jedoch immer wenn ich START drücke, verschwindet mein CAD-Modell und das Gehäuse ist leer.

Is it possible that you export your CAD model to STEP or Parasolid format? The STL is not suitable for this type of analysis.
Also, make sure that you don’t have any sheet faces/shell bodies after importing the model. These appear like this:

You can try to merge all parts and solidify them in a single solid body to correct this. Have a look here too:
