Problems simulating a static analysis of a bridge

Hello, to preface, I am currently a high school student completely new to simulating. I am trying to simulate a bridge; however, an error keeps coming up stating: “An error occurred in the resolution of the contact constraints. At least one contact definition is redundant since all its slave nodes are already constrained by other contacts or constraints. Please refine the mesh near the problematic contact or use second-order elements. Learn more. Bonded 61 is a problematic contact.” I went to the linked forum page and tried everything there besides the second-order mesh, as I can’t seem to find it. Any help would be of assistance. Thank you for your time

Detailed description of what I’m trying to simulate:

I am attempting to simulate a downward force of 200 N being applied to a balsa model of a deck arch truss bridge by a 2"x2" wood block. The bridge is being supported on both sides by steel blocks.

Hi @utr,

From the project I can see that you have multiple contacts defined for the same surface, for example “bonded 61” and “bonded 108” they both are defined on the same surface, this results in an over-constrained model, and hence the redundancy error.

Additionally, below are tutorial and sample project that I think its worth to look at:
