I have a problem that i want to have some furniture inside my simulation geometry. but it seem the room detect that has overlapping geometry. I set the furniture under boundary condition as walls (adiabatic), and radiator as power sources. I am sure there is no interferences on my interior object. How to fix this problem?
Hello Melvina - I hope everything is going well. I believe the issue could be related to two possible causes.
First, if you have overlapping entities with the flow region, you need to ensure that these entities are assigned to an advanced concept and that no material is assigned to them. Otherwise, this error can appear.
Second, even if you have already defined advanced concepts for these parts, the Physics-Based Meshing option should be enabled. In SimScale, Physics-Based Meshing allows users to automatically create cell zones without needing to split the geometry into separate regions. It is still possible to control this manually if you prefer to keep Physics-Based Meshing disabled, but in that case additional mesh refinements will be required.
