Multiple simulations - Same Setup

Hi,

I’ve got multiple models that require simulations and meshing, is there a way to perform these simulations together as the set up for all the models would be the same.

Thanks

Hi @M_sim and sorry for the delayed response!

That’s a good and valid question and has already been requested in the past. The “easiest” way I would say is to set up the simulation for one model and then copy the existing (finished) setup and just exchange the model. However you would have to re-assign the boundary conditions.

P.S.: Giving this feature a vote would help a lot: Simulation Setup Import/Export between different projects :slight_smile:

Hi @jousefm ,

Thanks for the response. How do I go about copying and exchanging the model?

Thanks
@M_sim

Hi @M_sim!

Let me know if that helps.

\underline{\textbf{1. Right-Click to duplicate existing simulation}}

\underline{\textbf{2. Choose existing other meshes}}

Great! :+1:

Feel free to mark the post as the solution. Thanks and happy SimScaling!

How do I mark the post as a solution, as I can’t see the option on the page?

Hi @M_sim!

Not that important but you should find the option under the post where the editing symbols are…if I am not mistaken :slight_smile:
