I have done a simulation of a mixing tank which has a pitched blade impeller with a diameter of 5cm and a speed of 1000 rpm. I am getting really high velocity results and my mesh to me seems very fine so I dont think that should be the culprit? When putting in the slurry rheology of my bingham plastic i must admit I didnt really know what the Vo parameter was for so I just set it as a high value (20), so maybe this is the culprit. Also as im more familiar with fluent I wasnt overly sure which numeric settings to use so I tried to choose second order ones, wouldnt be surprised if I got something wrong.
Note that the simulation hasnt converged but I dont want to keep throwing my valuable core hours at it.
