How to simulate the blade speed of a wind turbine?

I have an STL file of a fan that is made up of a few blades affixed radially to a cone. See example such as:

What I would like to do is simulate how many revolutions per minute the blades might have just from wind passing over the blades through a cylinder in which the blades will be pinned to the center of the cylinder with a small space of a handful of millimeters between the edges of the blade and the cylinders inside walls.

Is something like this possible to simulate with SimScale? If so how can this be set up?

That’s totally possible to be done with SimScale. Please find some step-by-step tutorials on how rotating machinery can be setup, also feel free to make a copy and do your own improvements :slight_smile:
