After uploading a stl format geometry, there is only one face shown in upper right list. Of course stl format is just one single closed face. My question is how to set boundary conditions for different faces? Can we split stl to several faces as we want? Please help me out. Many thanks!

We have the surface splitting operation (also explained here) but I would generally recommend to already split the faces inside of your CAD tool.

btw, do you know how to upload mesh data to Simscale for simulation? I use hypermesh software to generate the mesh data.
