Hex Meshing parametric not generating layers

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to mesh my domain (SimScale) but the problem is that the mesh is not generating boundary layers.

I have tried to incorporate suggestions given here and here. There are very few boundary layer elements. I am not sure which mesh parameter is leading to most layers being discarded.

I have tried to mesh this geometry in different simscale meshers, but I am either facing the hex-mesh problem or facing issue in simulation blowing up due to bad quality tet-mesh (Run 1 in SimScale).

I am running out of ideas here.

Hi @bhatiadinesh05!!! One of the best methods you could follow is to have your model already layered by using Laplacian filter. Then perform analysis using simscale. It worked for me. Let me know if it works for you too.
