Heat transfer model for a cylinder

I want to generate a heat transfer model for a cylinder that has a heating rod at the center. How do I go about this using simscale?

Hi,

In case the heat generation takes place inside of a volume, then power sources would be an option. Other than that, if the heat generation happens on an exposed boundary, then you could go for a wall boundary condition.

The analysis type will likely be “Conjugate Heat Transfer v2.0” assuming that you have a clean CAD model.
