Enthalpy and Energy

Hi Everyone,

Can you please help me to find enthalpy and energy transfer.

I can do hand calculation, but can Simscale provide me automatically?

Hello,

Some solvers (e.g. CHTv1) output enthalpy as a result of the analysis. For other solvers, you might give it a try with the field calculator tool.

As for energy transfer, I guess it depends on the physics and analysis types. If it’s FEA, there’s a heat flux result control option. For CFD, this article shows the usual approach.
