Drag and Lift coefficient of a car

Hi! do i still need to defined the pitch axis ,center of rotation and reference lenght if I only want the drag and lift coefficient?

If you are only interested in the Cl and Cd, the center of rotation is not important, but you still have to add the reference length for the calculation. Have a look here: How To Analyze the Pitch, Lift, and Drag Coefficients | SimScale

Keep in mind that the center of rotation is important for moment calculation. Also, if you know the drag and lift axis, you can also find the pitch axis. It doesn’t affect the Cl and Cd though.
