Cyclic creep study

Hi I’m trying to do a creep study to determine the strain over a lifetime where the component would go through cycles. I want to simulate strain relaxation so to simulate rest periods so there are no thermal or mechanical loads with the aim to see if heat build up increases the amount of creep or increases creep strain.
My thoughts togo about this was by calculating the creep constants then to create a time curve to fit the profile of the study ie. for how long the loads would be present for.
I’d appreciate any help on this.

It should be possible that you apply loads only for a specific amount of time, but I am also tagging @ggiraldof who is experienced with FEA :smiley:
