Convergent Plot in input and output unstable

Hello

I am investigating the characteristics of multiple designs for a shell and tube Heat exchanger. I am initially running this program with a single-pipe configuration. However, looking at the convergence plot for the inlet and outlet are unstable. Please could you give me some feedback on why this could be?

Please see the below link to the project

Thank you for your time

Hi there,
Thank you for posting on the forum.
We will take a look and get back to you soon

Updated Single Pipe Configuration

Design was changed due to calculation of heat exchanger through use of LMTD method for crossflow.

I am expecting a temperature Oil outlet of 70 Degrees C and a temperature of water outlet of 20 Degrees C.
on Run 6 however, I am seeing barely any change in temperature and the inlet and outlet convergence plot is not stabilising. could you please provide feedback on what i could do to help gain a convergence within the inlet and outlet plots? Thank you

Hey dcopson,

Apologies for the late response. Your project might be private and is not accessible. Therefore I am unable to take a look at it, did you maybe manage to figure out a solution yet?

If not, please go through this article: How to Check Convergence of a CFD Simulation? | SimScale as it gives a nice overview of how you can achieve or study convergence.
