Constrains from Onshape assembly

Is there a way of importing an assembly from Onshape which has parts fixed together with mate connectors and have all parts fixed together is Simscale without manually assigning connections?

I am not aware of such a method as you still have to define the contacts inside SimScale to avoid rigid body motion for instance. Maybe my colleague @rszoeke can give you a bit more details on that specific topic.

Hi @witor,
currently we are only reading the pure CAD data during import from OnShape, no additional information like assembly constraints.
You are definitely mentioning a valuable new feature here. Please add this to the Vote for features! section so that others can vote for it and we can eventually implement it!
