Boundary condition for safety relief Valve

Hello Support Team,

I am simulating incompressible flow in safet valve. I have given boundary condition at pressure inlet equal to bar. But the calculation of pressure is not correct. Please help me with this .

Thank you

Hi Pooja,
Thank you for posting on the forum!
Can you please share your project link?
Thank you!

hello,

Please find the link below:

Hi Pooja,
Unfortunately the link re-directs us to the dashboard. Can you copy paste the project URL here?
If it is a private project, please share with support

hope this work.

Hi Pooja,
You have not created a flow region. You can create one in the CAD mode.
Please refer to our documentation

Try running your simulation after creating the region and deleting the solid body.

Do let us know if it works!

Hello Support Team,

The cad geometry in this project is its self a flow vaolume. I cant create flow volume from this.

Greetings,

Upon reviewing the boundary conditions, it appears that both the inlet and outlet pressure conditions are set at 0 Pa. And the initial pressure condition is set at 1 bar. I wanted to bring to your attention that while there may be a very slight(almost negligible) pressure drop, our post-processing results show that it will be quite negligible, with values in the order of 10x-9.

You will need to re-evaluate your boundary conditions in this case.

Hope this solved your question!

thank you for your reply. How to calculate mass flow rate here in kg/s ?

Hi,
