I am trying to create a simulation where air flows through a core with thin plates, but my mesh is not up to standard. The mesh will run but the quality is low I have attached pictures and a link to the project below. Is there anyway to improve the mesh without changing the geometry?
Hi, normaly for an object like this you would use a porous media, since you will need a very high resolution of your geometry from your mesh.
Here you can see that your gab is only has a resolution of one cell.
Normally you want to have boundary layers and at least three cells between the layers to fully resolve the flow through the plates.
So you will need to define a mesh refinement, either by a volume refinement or by a surface refinement.
