While working with SimScale we receive a following message:
“Cannot delete this geometry since it is used as base for mesh XXX.”
The following information will help:
1.The work flow for any simulation in SimScale is as follows:
2.If a user tries to delete a geometry, it is not possible if he has created a mesh using the same geometry. Similarly, he cannot delete the mesh if he is using it as a domain for any simulation.
3.In order to perform the above operation, he firsts needs to un-assign the mesh as the domain and then delete the mesh.
4.Finally, the uploaded geometry can be deleted.
