The best module for simulating supersonic flow is the Subsonic module, although the name of the solver implies the opposite. The name Subsonic was chosen when the new solver was initially released. At the time, supersonic flow could not be captured. Currently, this module is very robust and validated for supersonic flow. The name of the solver will be changed in the near future.
