Which meshing method is the best for pipes?

I would like to simulate ventilation pipes with bends to determine their resistance coefficients. However, I always get meshes with a non-orthogonality greater than 70°. I have standard mesh and hex-dominant mesh set to the highest fineness. Is it possibly due to the 3D models? Who has experience and can help me?

With kind regards .

Hi there, would it be possible that you add a link to the project, please?

Best regards,

Thanks for sharing!

High orthogonality of 70 is not considered bad, and I would only recommend to refine the mesh if the simulation diverges.
I recommend you use the Standard mesher , for a fineness level of 5, as 10 seems unnecessarily high for this simple geometry. Let me know about the residuals after the run
