I am having the same problem with wall functions as discussed in this thread:

I am trying to replicate some of the results in this validation: I made a copy of the last simulation: k-omegaSST_wallFunc I had to change the density of fluid to that of water since I think this was done before the change in pressure units from relative density pressure to Pascals. The simulation converged rather quickly but gave some very odd results. As the validation paper describes, Darcy–Weisbach solution gives a pressure loss of around 1500 Pascals which I confirmed from my own calcu…

In the meantime, please try to work with full-resolution scheme which should give you the right results.

However, when I try to recreate the results for the “Full Resolution” case using k-OmegaSST, the simulation is converging extremely slow. Much slower than the original. Plus when I look at the average inlet pressure, it keeps increasing with increasing iterations (>200 kPA). So I don’t believe this is working either. Here is the project:
