Could I open CATParts from CATIA onto SimScale? I understand you need stls for the mesher, but I see the option to upload CATIA files has been added. Would this mean I can get accurate results with this file format just like stls?

Hi Tina!
You can upload Catia files without any concerns. Assuming here that you pre-processed the files properly for the simulation.

What do you mean by pre-processing?
How you prepared your CAD models. Generally speaking there could only be a difference in the results if there’s a bug in the geometry which is very rare - so just continue with your study
