Hi,
I’m simulation an air flow trough a duct, but I’m seeing unexpected behavior. The core of the air stream has an eccentric position at the outlet. Does anybody have an Idea why this is happening?

Hi @ketscher,
Thanks for posting your question, and sorry for the late reply.
As you said that you are expecting a dimetric flow pattern, I recommend to apply the symmetry BC, dividing the domain by 4 decreasing the computational cost.
Furthermore, I ran a setup with an hexahedral mesh, which provides a flow more close to the symmetry than the set-mesh, and also using a transient flow to see if there are any changes in the flow pattern through the time. The results you can see below, and I hope this helps.
