Hello,
I am experiencing repeated job-launch failures in my academic SimScale project,
An earlier conjugate heat transfer simulation completed successfully using a conformal multi-region mesh containing approximately 3.26 million cells.
I subsequently duplicated the simulation to correct a heat-flux boundary-condition face assignment. However, the new simulation repeatedly failed to create or start a computational job.
I attempted to generate a new mesh using the same settings, but the meshing job also failed to start.
To isolate the issue, I created another simulation directly from the previously successful configuration. This simulation also failed to launch.
The reported error codes are:
-
WvuOn36M— Initial run-creation failure -
c0DizYF9—initial run creation/job-start failure -
3F9CPZVm— initial run mesh-generation failure -
YYj052GU— duplicate run (replaced assigned face)-creation/job-start failure
All errors display a generic unexpected-error message without identifying the underlying cause.
Could these failures be related to my project configuration (I only reassigned one face), mesh references, or SimScale’s job scheduler?
Thank you …
