I have troubles loading 3D models with my Chrome book. And I am out of ideas to solve it.
I tested both importing from Onshape and using copied files from a toturial.
The same model that does not work on my Chromebook works just fine on my windows laptop using chrome.
WebGL and Webgl2 is hardware accelerated and modelling in Onshape for instance works just fine.
The preview of the model loads fine, and can be interacted with.
I tried disabling adblock.
It just loads and loads without ever coming anywhere.
If i change the rendering option it shows up, but as a picture unable to move or rotate.
I can edit parameters for simulations etc, but of course not choose faces etc.
I can generate a mesh by choosing the model for the selection pane. And the mest editor loads and works.
Anyone experienced the same?
My Chromebook is a budget Acer Chromebook R13, And the Windows laptop is a more powerfull Lenovo Yoga X1. Neither of them are equipped with discrete graphics.
If you have this problem again would you be willing to share a link to your file? I run exclusively on a chromebook (Pixelbook) so I would be interested to see if I can see the same problem.
